First phase
Logo design
For the animated Star Wars-inspired series ‘Devron’, by Frontal Studios and SWBH, the logo needed to feel at home in its universe.
To achieve this, a mix of modern fonts and organic shapes was used. The ‘E’, shaped by a claw mark, is an important part of the story.
Second phase
The intro
With the logo completed, the next challenge was to make the logo metallic, 3D, and respond to light.
To achieve this effect, I used DaVinci Resolve, in which I created a custom shader that makes all vectors look 3D based on their geometry and makes them reflect light.
